Stamping
Metal stamping is a manufacturing process used to shape flat metal sheets or coils into specific forms and configurations. It involves the use of specialized dies and presses to deform the metal, typically under high pressure, to create desired shapes, patterns, or features.
In metal stamping, the metal sheet is placed between the upper and lower halves of a die, which contains cavities corresponding to the desired shape of the final product. When pressure is applied through a mechanical or hydraulic press, the metal is forced into the cavities of the die, resulting in the desired form.
Metal stamping is widely used in various industries, to produce a wide range of components such as brackets, panels, enclosures, connectors, and structural parts. It offers several advantages, including high precision, repeatability, efficiency in mass production, and the ability to work with a variety of metals and alloys.
Piercing and Bending
At AlfaTeh GmbH, we excel in two fundamental processes of sheet metal fabrication: Piercing and Bending. These techniques are essential for creating a wide variety of sheet metal components used in various industries.
Piercing
What is it
Piercing, also known as punching or perforation, is the process of creating holes or shapes in sheet metal using specialized tools and machinery. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes eccentric and hydraulic presses capable of exerting forces up to 220 tons.
Use Cases
Piercing finds extensive applications across industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics, and more. Common use cases include creating ventilation holes, mounting points, decorative patterns, and functional features in sheet metal components.
Bending
What is it
Bending is the process of shaping sheet metal by applying force to bend or deform it along a straight axis. Our CNC bending machine, also known as a Press Brake, enables precise bending of sheet metal to achieve desired shapes and angles.
Use Cases
Bending is crucial for manufacturing a wide range of products, from simple brackets to complex enclosures and chassis. Common use cases include forming sheet metal into boxes, brackets, frames, and structural components used in various assemblies.
CNC Hydraulic Shears
At AlfaTeh GmbH, we utilize CNC hydraulic shears to precisely cut sheet metal with a maximum thickness of 6 mm into smaller pieces. These cutting-edge shears are equipped with computer numerical control (CNC) technology, allowing for highly accurate and efficient cutting operations.
Capabilities
Our CNC hydraulic shears are capable of cutting various types of metals with exceptional precision, ensuring clean edges and minimal material wastage. Whether you require straight cuts, curves, or intricate shapes, our advanced shearing equipment can accommodate your specific cutting needs with ease.
Versatility
With the ability to swiftly and accurately cut sheet metal into smaller components, our CNC hydraulic shears enhance the efficiency of the fabrication process. Whether you need custom-sized blanks for further processing or precise components for assembly, our shearing capabilities enable us to meet your requirements promptly and cost-effectively.
